ILL TRILL NEIL: "Cold, Intelligent, Undefeated" Neil J. Harris, known in the rap game as "ILL TRILL NEIL", was born on March 30, 1982 in Pensacola, Florida. This multi-talented musical innovator discovered his craft at the young age of 9 years old, and has since been perfecting his skills in rapping, producing, poetry writing and song composition. With his locally known catch phrase of "Spell my name with capital letters!” "ILL TRILL NEIL" [or I.T.N.] is also creating the definition of a ‘word technician’ with his futuristically styled verses and unmatched delivery. His musical influence lies in late, great artists like Tupac Shakur, The Notorious B.I.G. and Big Pun. However his highest inspiration stems from the musical background of both of his family. His father, John "Kousi" Harris, was a recording artist in the group Brother's Unlimited for Fame / Capitol Records and songwriter for recording artists signed to Stax Records. While his mother, Matte' was lead singer / songwriter for the group Bomerangs. Both parents had done work with major recording artists from Jimi Hendrix to Al Green. This variety sparked I.T.N.’s interest in classic jazz, rock-n-roll, heavy metal, blues and drum-n-bass.
